Hey lover! Happy Valentine’s day to you. I hope you are not mopping around if you don’t have a partner. Remember it is just a day and will be over before you know it. Anyway, I did a valentine’s day collaboration which I am super excited to share with you all. Be on the look out for it today or tomorrow:)
For those who still haven’t decided what to do for valentine’s day, call me Cupid cos I have a few ideas for you:)
1. A romantic dinner date
Imagine a nice romantic looking restaurant with perfectly dim lights. How relaxing would that be?!
As traditional as it is to go to a restaurant, you can also bring the restaurant to you. I think it would be so busy at most restaurants and might be better to have a nice dinner indoors. I personally would enjoy a more intimate setting. Anyway, how about a nice home cooked meal with nice bubbles. Imagine having dinner in front of your fireplace with rose petals on the floor. How stunning?!
2. A nice stroll watching the sunset
If the weather is bearable, why not take a nice stroll and watch the sunset. It is on a weekday anyway, so how about a nice stroll by the riverside and watch the sunset. This is as intimate as a valentine’s date can get if you ask me. I think I have a slight bias though towards sunsets. They are just so beautiful:) Who is with me?
3. A picnic
How about a nice picnic date for you and your partner? You can have nice sandwiches, cakes, scones and have your own mini party at the park/beach.
4. A burlesque show
Who loves this idea? How fun would it be to watch a burlesque show with your partner? It is definitely more adventurous than going to a restaurant for dinner.
5. Wine tasting tour
Does your partner love wine? If yes, this might be ideal for you. Imagine you both tasting wines and listening to the history of the wines. Who knows, you could share intimate details and secrets after a couple of glasses!
6. Themed movie night /Comedy show
How amazing would it be to stay indoors and just ‘netflix and chill’? It is an amazing idea for a perfect Tuesday evening. Choose a couple of movies. You can also watch a comedy show online or take your partner to watch a comedy show.
7. A scavenger hunt
If your partner loves adventures, why not try your own creative version of a scavenger hunt. Put notes all over the house, with one leading to another! Hopefully, it ends with a nice surprise gift at the end of the hunt! Rewards are always good after a nice scavenger hunt. I definitely won’t appreciate following all the clues, only to find out that there is nothing waiting for me at the end of it all.
8. Reenact your first date.
How sweet would it be to reenact your first date? Ideally choose the same venue, same food you ordered, same seats (if possible) and have a second first date.
You can always go to a karaoke bar with your partner. It promises to be a fun date night:)
10. A spa day
A nice, relaxing spa day might be just what you need.
Which of these ideas are your fave? Do you intend to try out any of these ideas? What are your plans for Valentine’s day?
